YACHT OPERATIONS ASSISTANT, BARCELONA/VILANOVA
ESTELA Superyacht Agency is looking for someone to join its busy offices in Barcelona and Vilanova.
We are looking for an energetic, outgoing, team-playing, flexible and proactive individual with the following qualities:
- Fluent English and Spanish at a minimum
- Driverβs licence
- Experience with MS Office, especially Outlook
- Good knowledge of Barcelona and surrounding area
- Some yacht industry knowledge would be great but is NOT essential
ESTELA is a leading superyacht and shipping agency located in #Barcelona. We provide support to yachts; from berth booking, provisioning and transfers, to immigration formalities, fuel and flowers.
Weβre a small team of people who are dedicated to what they do. Weβre professional and pride ourselves on providing first class service to yacht captains and crew. We also host events and travel to boat shows, so there are lots of opportunities to get involved in many different things.
You will be based in the office, but will also be running errands, such as shopping, collecting and delivering items. There is no room for egos and everyone mucks in where necessary. If you`re looking for a boring desk job, this is NOT for you!
How busy we are depends on the time of year and how many active clients we have visiting at any one time, so flexibility around working hours and the type of tasks is essential. You must be confident dealing with people face to face, or on the phone, speaking to clients and calling suppliers.
Our office hours are Monday - Friday 09:00-18:00, while you may occasionally need to help out at the weekend. Yachting is not a 9-to-5 activity, so our schedule is fluid. Youβll need to be available by mobile whenever away from the office, within reason, of course.
