CABRERA NATIONAL PARK RULES & REGULATIONS

Permitted activities:

  • The viewing of wildlife on the island
  • The taking of non professional photographs, without entering unauthorized areas
  • All activities which don’t disrupt or alter the landscape and natural values and cultures of the park

 

 

Activities that need authorization/ permission:

  • Professional photography, filming, videos etc.
  • Diving
  • Sailing and anchoring
  • Any commercial activity that is to be carried out in a fixed establishment
  • The acting as tourist guide within the park.

 

Prohibited activities:

  • The disposal of waste
  • The extraction or removal of any natural material
  • The removal or alteration of any archaeological object
  • The collection of material (living or not)
  • The planting or removal of plant and animal species
  • Start fires and smoking
  • Anchor/ Berth outside of the authorized areas
  • Camping within/ on any section of the park
  • Any form of hunting
  • Stepping foot on the park at any other point other than the designated area (pier of the port)
  • Explore the park outside of the designated foot paths and trails
  • Diving in Apnea during the months of May and June where the species Scyllarides latus grows
  • Fishing
